17. Periderm and bark.
The figures presented here were selected to illustrate aspects of the
cells and tissues of the cork cambium, cork, phelloderm and lenticels. The
legends were written to complement the more complete discussion of bark
presented in Chapter 17 (pages 351 to 367) in the textbook Plant Anatomy
by J. D. Mauseth, published by Cummings & Hathaway.
