habit - a trailing, herbaceous vine leaves - are these simple or compound leaves? How can you tell? The leaves are alternate and have axillary tendrils.

flowers - the tiny white flowers have bilateral symmetry with 4 unequal sepals (2 visible) and 4 petals. fruits - what type of fruit is this? The inflated, membranous fruits give this species its common name Balloonvine. The sepals remain attached in the fruit.
The seeds inside the capsule have a white heart shape spot which is described in the generic name Cardiospermum (Cardio - heart, sperma - seed).
