For marine algae that require salinities at 48 ppt.

For 1 L Total
1. Dissolve 15 g of natural sea-salt in approximately 900 mL of non-pasteurized seawater (30-35 ppt).
2. Add each of the components in the order specified (except vitamins) while stirring continuously.
3. Bring total volume to 1 L with non-pasturized seawater.
*For 1.5% agar medium add 15 g of agar into the flask; do not mix.
4. Cover and autoclave medium.
5. Store at refrigerator temperature.
