Our long-term goal is to understand how the environment affects gene expression resulting in different developmental fates in plants. In particular, we study epigenetic mechanisms underlying flowering time control. We use molecular genetic and biochemical approaches to study the effect of environment on the epigenetic regulation of gene expression in eukaryotes.
