Dr. Paul Gottlieb Lecture Series at the University of Texas At Austin

Our most recent speaker was Dr. Sydney Brenner, who received the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine in 2002.  Dr. Brenner's work with c. elegans has established this nematode as a model organism for many fields of study, including developmental biology and for studying the signaling pathways in multicellular organisms.
