Dr. Paul Gottlieb Lecture Series at the University of Texas At Austin |
|
|
Our
most recent speaker was Dr. Sydney Brenner, who received the
Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine
in 2002. Dr. Brenner's work with c. elegans has established this
nematode as a model organism for many fields of study, including
developmental biology and for studying the signaling pathways in
multicellular organisms.
