  1. Are you interested in studying a giant virus? A doctoral position in microbiology is available in the Greub research group (Lausanne, Switzerland). Dr. Gilbert Greub is seeking a motivated student interested in studying the biology of the Lausannevirus, which his group recently discovered (Thomas et al., Environ Microbiol 2011). The position is open for September 1, 2012 or later. Applications should be made by email (gilbert.greub@chuv.ch) and contain: a brief statement of research interests, CV with list of publications, as well as the names and contact information for one or two references.
